A Preface: Where the answers lie…
For the longest time, I looked for answers all around me. This speaker. That author. This authority figure. That leader. There were holes in my soul, in my understanding. There were so many challenges and problems that I was facing. I didn’t know what to do to fix them. I would look all around me, seeking for the answers to my questions, to my longings, to my problems. And I did find lots of answers. And lots of insights. And lots of solutions. I would apply those answers, insights and solutions to my life, and sometimes they worked brilliantly. Sometimes they worked pretty well for a time. Sometimes they didn’t work at all. Sometimes they worked for a while, and then stopped working. And I would move on to the next authority figure/author/speaker. I am an information junkie. I LOVE reading. I LOVE learning. I LOVE hearing a great motivational talk. I LOVE feeling inspired by those around me. And paradoxically, I have come to learn that if I wanted to find the TRUE answer...
